Study Abroad Summer Compensation Policy

The Study Abroad Summer Compensation Policy is designed to specify compensation rates for faculty teaching in and/or directing summer study abroad programs.

Overview of the policy:

• This policy sets compensation rates for summer study abroad programs at a flat rate of $7,500 per 3 credit class.

• This policy aligns with overall compensation rates for summer teaching of on-campus and online courses, setting a 25% maximum of the instructor’s annual base salary.

• This policy specifies compensation rates for program directors for their administrative duties, subject to the 25% maximum.
