Standards of Conduct

The University’s Student Conduct Code, which was updated in 2024, provides an overview of the General Expectations for Baylor Students. The University’s Policy Statement on Alcohol and Other Drugs clearly identifies conduct that is prohibited regarding the unlawful possession, use, or distribution of illicit drugs and alcohol by students and employees on University property or as part of any of the University’s activities. It is also a violation of University policy for anyone to possess, use, or be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage on the campus or at a University-related activity off campus. An off-campus University-related activity is defined in the Definition of Student Organizational Activities and University-Related Activities. Anyone violating these policies is subject to disciplinary action ranging from warning to expulsion.
