Lactation Accommodation Policy
The Lactation Accommodation Policy creates a supportive working environment to enable faculty and staff to have time during work to express breastmilk.
This policy updates the University’s previous Lactation Accommodation Policy.
Overview of Revised Policy:
• The policy was updated with additional language from the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Providing Urgent Maternal Protections for Nursing Mothers (PUMP) Act.
• The policy was updated to include what individuals are affected by the policy.
• The related policies and documents were expanded to include the addition of the Sexual and Interpersonal Misconduct Policy, Civil Rights Policy, and the Nursing Mother Rooms Campus Map.
