Policy on Romantic and/or Sexual Conduct with Students and Supervisees

May 3, 2021

Baylor transitioned the Policy on Romantic and/or Sexual Conduct with Students or Supervisees to the new policy template. The document continues to provide policy in relation to expected conduct consistent with the stated Christian mission of the University while maintaining a learning environment based on ethical and professional behavior and mutual respect for all students and employees.

• The policy maintains the requirements for faculty, staff, and graduate students to recognize and respect the ethical and professional boundaries conducive to our Christian mission educational environment when interacting with students and supervisees.

• The policy places responsibility on the employee to determine status of a Baylor student prior to engaging in behaviors that might violate policy.

• The policy provides accountability to reporting any policy violation through several resources.
