Baylor's policies support the mission and vision of Baylor University to educate men and women for worldwide leadership and service by integrating academic excellence and Christian commitment within a caring community by illuminating Baylor's expectations, mitigating institutional risks, and supporting the institution's compliance with laws and regulations.
Each faculty and staff member and student employee is obligated to be aware of and comply with all University policies, procedures, and applicable law. Faculty, staff, and student employees are also personally responsible to know and comply with any additional policies issued by their assigned department, school, or division. Compliance with applicable policies is a condition of employment such that non-compliance may result in discipline, up to and including termination. Policies do not alter the at-will relationship of non-contracted employees with the University, nor do they create a contractual obligation on behalf of the University toward any individual or entity. While Baylor’s normal practice is to adjust policies through a collaborative process, Baylor retains the right to modify or delete policies without notice.
University Policies published on the individual school, department, or unit websites should reflect current information and align with this site. Resources are available to help you review and amend existing policies. Please communicate any policy changes to policy@baylor.edu.
