Doug Bartolotta
Risk Management Program Manager
Doug joined Baylor University in 2024 and is responsible for the development and implementation of risk management strategies that ensure the well-being of the university community and limit liabilities that may negatively affect the ability of Baylor University to achieve its objectives.
Doug studied at the United States Military Academy and graduated with a BS in Systems Engineering and a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Unites States Army, spending the next 5 years stationed or deployed in Germany, Iraq, and Kuwait as a Field Artillery, and later, Signal Corps officer.
Leaving the United States Army at the rank of Captain, Doug went on to perform analytics and operations management roles for a fiber-optic telecommunications company in NYC and then risk management & compliance duties for Google in San Francisco, CA for 7 years prior to joining the team at Baylor.
Doug is excited to bring his military and civilian business experiences to Baylor and work for a Christian non-profit in the State of Texas. His interests include tennis, golf, billiards, and Christian theology & apologetics.
