Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy establishes principles regarding Baylor’s collection, storage, use, and transmission of personal and confidential information in a manner consistent with applicable law and the mission of Baylor University as set forth in Baylor in Deeds. 

Overview of Policy Changes:

• Expands the definition of Confidential Information to include HIPAA protected health information
• Updates the membership of the University Privacy Committee
• Updates language regarding the sale, release, or transfer of information for third party use
• Removes the Minors section to align with current practices
• Updates policy enforcement information for faculty, staff, and students
