Tobacco-Free and Smoke-Free Campus Policy

The Tobacco-Free and Smoke-Free Campus Policy prohibits smoking and the use of all tobacco products (including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, smokeless tobacco, electronic cigarettes, chewing tobacco, snuff, and other tobacco products) and nicotine substances not approved or cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as smoking cessation products by students, faculty, staff, and visitors on all University owned, operated, leased, occupied, or controlled property.

The revised policy was updated to include nicotine substances not approved or cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as smoking cessation products (nicotine pouches) and updated terminology related to vapes and e-cigarettes (ENDS).
