Student Conduct Code
The Student Conduct Code applies to all persons taking courses at or through Baylor University, either full-time or part-time, pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or professional studies. Each student is responsible for learning about and adhering to the Baylor University Student Conduct Code.
Overview of Policy Changes:
- Revisions to reflect the current transcript hold policy as published by the Registrar’s Office
- Expanded examples of educational sanction programs
- Clarification regarding court-sanctioned documents
- Authority of the Associate Vice President for Student Life to set sanctions in cases heard by the Student Conduct Board
- The Student Conduct Board’s ability to recommend sanctions when desired
- Definition of “firsthand” knowledge added
- Option for students to schedule a follow-up meeting in Type II cases
- Sanctions determined by the Student Conduct Officer in admitted Type II cases
