Student Conduct Code

The Student Conduct Code applies to all persons taking courses at or through Baylor University, either full-time or part-time, pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or professional studies. Each student is responsible for learning about and adhering to the Baylor University Student Conduct Code.

Overview of Policy Changes:

  • Revisions to reflect the current transcript hold policy as published by the Registrar’s Office
  • Expanded examples of educational sanction programs
  • Clarification regarding court-sanctioned documents
  • Authority of the Associate Vice President for Student Life to set sanctions in cases heard by the Student Conduct Board
  • The Student Conduct Board’s ability to recommend sanctions when desired
  • Definition of “firsthand” knowledge added
  • Option for students to schedule a follow-up meeting in Type II cases
  • Sanctions determined by the Student Conduct Officer in admitted Type II cases
