Academic Freedom and Duties Policy

The Academic Freedom and Duties Policy articulates the University’s commitment to academic freedom for faculty members, as well as expectations for the performance of their duties.

Overview of Policy Changes:

• Policy contacts and links have been updated
• The Duties section was updated to incorporate BU-PP 710 Faculty Meetings, which will now be retired.
• Academic Freedom has not been changed or edited at all. The minor changes are to the Duties section only.
